Our Story
Billy'o Bush Retreat is a 150-acre rural property located 4km from Wongarbon and 25km from Dubbo, offering breathtaking hilltop views of the surrounding farmland. Our private bushland haven blends natural beauty with unique amenities and hand-built outbuildings. Just a short drive from Dubbo’s attractions, including Taronga Western Plains Zoo and the Central West Cycle Trail, it’s the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure.
We offer a variety of accommodation options, including powered sites for RVs, caravans, camper trailers, and tents or enjoy the comfort of our rustic yet fully-equipped Shearer's Huts and larger Meet House Cabin. With a limit of no more than 15 bookings at any time, you’re guaranteed peace and space during your stay. Our goal is to provide warm hospitality, unique accommodation, and plenty of things to see and do.
Our hand-built Function Centre offers four event spaces - The Meet House, The Dunny Door, The Chaff Shed, and The Treehouse - and can accommodate up to 100 guests. It’s an ideal venue for Christmas parties, corporate events, weddings, and other celebrations, providing a relaxed, charming atmosphere sure to leave a lasting impression.
